End

Tis the end of the first semester (almost). Finals tomorrow. Two finals to be exact. I'll be glad to get them over with. Tonight, is going to be an all-nighter. I hope I will get nothing less that what I am expecting this time.

Bye bye Priscilla, and Hello Nerd-cilla. =D

I'll update once, I am done.

On a much happy note, I got back my mid-term for my Art History, and I must say, I shocked myself with the grades I got! More elaboration on that tomorrow.

Just pray for me please? Even though if you hate me or whatever else reason it maybe. Just pray that I have the strength to go through tomorrow's papers, and that I have the determination to focus tonight.

Thanks :)

Lundi xD

WARNING:

I just updated like a heck of a lot! So scroll back to catch up! :)

Nothing much going on today, just studying and listening to the pieces I have to memorize by Thursday. So far, I have done one CD out of three. =/ Not good, but getting there. New Media, I shall start tomorrow or maybe Wednesday. No no, tomorrow. I will start it tomorrow.

BTW, today's temperature? MINUS 33. So stop complaining people if you all go to minus 5 or it starts getting cold! Think positive and get through it, because it turns out to be pretty awesome.

Today morning, I decided to take the bus, and as I was getting on, I did not see the snow was not levelled out, so as always I fell, flat down on my knees! LOL. The bus driver, I bet laughed.

And when I walked, my hair froze! Like seriously. It became white and stiff! OMG, Shakirah and Sarah, i bet you both would have freaked to see your hair go like that! Ha-ha!!!

Okay, I am going to study now.

Daddy's Rules For Dating

I came across these set of rules. I thought this was awesome! :)

Rule #1
If you pull into my driveway and honk you'd better be delivering a
package, because you're sure not picking anything up.

Rule #2
Do not touch my daughter in front of me. You may glance at her, so
long as you do not peer at anything below her neck. If you cannot
keep your eyes or hands off of my daughter's body, I will remove them.

Rule #3
I am aware that it is considered fashionable for boys of your age to
wear their trousers so loosely that they appear to be falling off
their hips. Please don't take this as an insult, but you and all of
your friends are complete idiots. Still, I want to be fair and open
minded about this issue, so I propose this compromise. You may come
to the door with your underwear showing and your pants ten sizes too
big, and I will not object. However, in order to ensure that your
clothes do not, in fact come off during the course of your date with
my daughter, I will take my electric nail gun and fasten your
trousers securely in place to your waist.

Rule #4
I'm sure you've been told that in today's world, sex without
utilizing a 'Barrier method' of some kind can kill you. Let me
elaborate, when it comes to sex, I am the barrier, and I will kill
you.

Rule #5
I
t is usually understood that in order for us to get to know each
other, we should talk about sports, politics, and other issues of the
day. Please do not do this. The only information I require from you
is an indication of when you expect to have my daughter safely back
at my house, and the only word I need from you on this subject
is: 'early.'

Rule #6
I have no doubt you are a popular fellow, with many opportunities to
date other girls. This is fine with me as long as it is okay with my
daughter. Otherwise, once you have gone out with my little girl, you
will continue to date no one but her until she is finished with you.
If you make her cry, I will make you cry.

Rule #7
As you stand in my front hallway, waiting for my daughter to appear,
and more than an hour goes by, do not sigh and fidget. If you want
to be on time for the movie, you should not be dating. My daughter
is putting on her makeup, a process than can take longer than
painting the Golden Gate Bridge. Instead of just standing there, why
don't you do something useful, like changing the oil in my car?

Rule #8
The following places are not appropriate for a date with my
daughter. Places where there are beds, sofas, or anything softer
than a wooden stool. Places where there is darkness. Places where
there is dancing, holding hands, or happiness. Places where the
ambient temperature is warm enough to induce my daughter to wear
shorts, tank tops, midriff T-shirts, or anything other than overalls,
a sweater, and a goose down parka zipped up to her throat. Movies
with a strong romantic or sexual themes are to be avoided. Movies
which feature chain saws are okay. Hockey games are okay. Old-folks
homes are better.

Rule #9
Do not lie to me. I may appear to be a potbellied, balding, middle-
aged, dimwitted has-been. But on issues relating to my daughter, I
am the all-knowing, merciless god of your universe. If I ask you
where you are going and with whom, you have one chance to tell me the
truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. I have a shotgun,
a shovel, and five acres behind the house. Do not trifle with me.

Rule #10
Be afraid. Be very afraid. It takes very little for me to mistake
the sound of your car in the driveway for a chopper coming in over a
rice paddy near Hanoi . When my Agent Orange starts acting up, the
voices in my head frequently tell me to clean the guns as I wait for
you to bring my daughter home. As soon as you pull into the driveway
you should exit the car with both hands in plain sight. Speak the
perimeter password, announce in a clear voice that you have brought
my daughter home safely and early, then return to your car - there is
no need for you to come inside. The camouflaged face at the window
is mine.

Sledding, Tobaganning and a Christmas Play =)

Today, I finished off my History assignment which was long before due and printed it out to be submitted for tomorrow. Also, I did my New Media website assignment, and then got lazy to photoshop pictures and seriously I do not have time. It is so time-consuming to photoshop things. Whoever thinks that New Media is some cheap and easy course, well you better take it before assuming. I bet you, you wouldn't last a day in those classes any of us take. It is just as equally tough to any other course, and just because we interest in it, we actually manage to handle it well. You have no idea what stress means to us. You have no idea how many hours it takes to make a simple 2 minute movie and edit and transform and convert it. You have no idea how long it takes to website design and photoshop things.

New Media life is interesting, yet it eats you inside.

So anyways, I have done practically everything on my TO-DO List except for studying for finals. I must get a good grade for the exams. My Music exam is like 20% or maybe 30%. And my New Media is 15% which I think is awesome. Ha-ha, less stress.

So, was planning on starting to study in the afternoon and I got a call from Michelle asking me to go watch this Christmas Play that I had been wanting to watch badly! Tempted, and I said yes. Later on, she calls back saying to go sledding and tobogganing! Now, how do you expect me to say NO?! I was super excited, and there the study went WHOOOSH out of my mind. LOL.

So Crystal came over to my place, and later Keilan picked us up and then we went to get Emma. We went over to this place called the Sugar bowl. And well, the name says it all, its like a sugar bowl and you slide down and walk back up! Damn tiring but damn fun. I was so nervous!

I kept falling on my knees and it was so frustrating to climb, Crystal had to hold me and we went up together. So, my first time on the toboggan. How did it go you ask?

HAHAHAHAHA! I got on well, and I started going down and suddenly I turned and was going backwards, and then suddenly I did this BACKFLIP! Ha-ha! It was the most hilarious thing ever! Glenda says that no one does that. Well Glenda, I told you I was prone to all of this!

It was super fun, and I kept falling. LOL.

So we stayed there till 6PM, and as just about as we were going to go, Cesar was cleaning his car (as it had snow) and Michelle was like, “Priscilla, here’s the chance to throw snow on Cesar!”. (I wanted to have a snowball fight, and Cesar was kind enough to have one with me but I never got the chance.) So I got out of the car, found this huge rock like chunk of snow and chucked it! It hit him right on the head! LOL. Sorry Cesar! But you called for it. He got even with me though; I was completely thrown off guard when he stuffed snow down my throat! YUCK! Oh Cesar, the war is on.

After that we headed over to Michelle’s place to get ready for the Christmas Play. The play was amazing! I bet Sarah, if you were there you would have LOVED it! It was so amazing, and it was just so good! I got Goosebumps when the choir sang! And you know what? They even had REAL LLAMAS!!! Ha-ha! It was awesome!

Reached home around 10PM and now I am going to do some sorting; need to study from tomorrow onwards! Promise. For sure. I will. =) Good Night world!

PS: Sorry guys, no pictures of the sledding, will try to see if my friends took some. I didn't want to take the risk of taking my camera, and a good thing I didn't too. Or else, the way I tumbled down, it would have been SQUASHED! =P

Sat-ur-day

I think it is pretty stupid not to have an email which works or a phone number to call when you are in desparate need.

I borrowed a piece of equipment from University and the due date was today. Due to the blizzard yesterday the roads were closed, and hence the buses weren't running. There was ice all over, and it was pretty cold too. Not to mention the wind was blowing like 50km/hr competing with the snow drifts.

And yet, I had to go and return one freaking piece of equipment and get trashed walking to and fro? It is so damn stupid I tell you! I was so mad and pissed that I just felt like slapping someone.

On a much happier note, while walking back I made a snow angel in the middle of the parking lot. That is the least I could do to make me feel less mad.

Gah! In such a emo mood. Hate this. And yet we are called a New Media faculty? I am going to bring this issue up soon.

PS: I haven't done anything today. Not to mention go out and I wish I bought groceries on Friday. I am stuck with bread. LOL.

Blizzard Hit Us Hard.

So the whole of yesterday was snowing really heavily, along with the snow drifts and the winds. It seemed all surreal. The snow was up to knee length and still rising! It was an awesome experience, not to mention tonnes of falling because I could not differentiate the level of the grounds.

So anyways, after the Christmas Party was over at around 10PM, all of us started to head home before the blizzard worsened. People were already stuck and had to get their cars pushed and dug out, so we thought to make a head start.

I was the last one to be dropped home, and suddenly the car doesn't move forward! We were stuck! In the middle of the street at 10PM, and everyone were inside their houses so the street practically looked deserted. Ryan tried to dig the car out by removing snow which got stuck, and me and Keila got out to push. The wind was strong and the drifts were coming in fast, not to mention we three were freezing our asses off.

No luck happened after 1.5 hours later, and in the end we got to get towed out from there. It was the most AWESOME thing ever, but I would have to say next time I must be prepared with warm clothings or else I would freeze to icicles out there.

ISM Christmas Party

ISM Christmas Party was today. Okay wait technically yesterday because it is past 12AM right now.

Initially our plan was to go over to the South side and watch a Christmas Play and have a party over at Glenda's place, but then the blizzard hit hard, so the West siders were stuck at the West side lol.

We had gift exchange (in which I got a box of chocolates!) and we watched a movie called Shrek the Halls, and played a tonne lot of games, and took alot of pictures!

Me, Josh and Mana.

It was tonnes of fun, and to be honest I am not ready to say good bye to all the exchange students from Korea, Japan and China. It doesn't seem fair to let go, but I really will miss them. If you all want to check out more pictures, you know where to go :)

Question In My Head #3

Why is it always easy to assume something before searching for the truth?

BAH HAMBUG!

"Bah Ham-bug!" is what Scrooge used to say.

Today morning the temperature was minus 16 when I started walking to University. Surprisingly, I could manage walking without feeling cold cold. I think that when the wind starts blowing at 60km/hr then it is freaking cold! And you just feel like you want to die or something.

But yeah, walking to university and you could feel your pants/jeans become so cold that people like me have to keep feeling it to see if I have actually peed in my pants or if it is just the weather. Turns out just weather okay? I am trained to go to the loo.

So the weather has not gone over minus 10 today, even though the Sun shines it is still in the state where you breath you can see the "smoke" type coming out.

I always like to imagine I am blowing fire out of my mouth! It seems so much fun and entertaining, especially when I have to wait at the pedestrian lights for like a minute or two.

So anyways current status of where I am now:

Still single. Check.
Homework in process. Half-check. ('Coz I am blogging now)
Checking out cute guys. Double Check.
Dreamweaver assignment. Check.
Started studying for finals? Dead.
Distraction. Check.
Essay on Picasso due today. Not even close to finished.

The best part about the essay? I asked my prof to give me time and he did! I think that is awesome that my professor can relate and that he is not grumpy like any other profs. Too bad I only have him for a semester though :(

Retard-ness? Check.

Too Much

So, for the first time ever since University started, I could not handle the due dates being so close and stuck one on top of another.

Concert report worth 10% of my final grade - DONE. (Still have one more to go which is due next week)

NMED Movie Edit - Worth 10% and a helluva lot of time needed in doing all those edits. - INCOMPLETE (due next Tuesday)

Essay on Picasso - DUE TOMORROW and haven't completed.

NMED Dreamweaver Assignment worth 5% of final grade - HALF COMPLETED.

So yeah, I am over-whelmed with too much work, and yet I suddenly feel like I have time. Not to mention, I haven't started studying for my finals next THURSDAY. Not one final, but TWO.

OMGWTFBBQ!!!!!!
